About Edie

Above picture Circa 1987

Edie has survived the lifelong effects of a traumatizing molestation at age five, divorce, multiple rapes as a single mother, and a 23-year career in software systems development at WE/BL/AT&T/LU. She retired in 1998 at the insistence of her psychiatrist after her emotional collapse and hospitalization.

After a two-year respite, she had a delightful time teaching introductory piano for six years. She now spends her time writing, playing the piano, and making lighted “magic” wands.

Edie has been a vegetarian  since 1987 after reading Diet For a New America  by John Robbins.
