I bought a new 1999 Ford E150 and had lots of fun converting it into a ’60s style camper. Some day, I’ll write stories about the adventures I had taking it to sewing sews… and then camping and taking two cross-country trips in it by myself while waiting for my husband to retire.
First, I took it to a shop and had an electrical outlet added to the right rear side and a window added to the same side that would be over the counter and cooktop I planned to add.
Then, I finished the interior.
Pictures below are of the shower assembly I made out of PVC tubing, screening, and a large tarp.
I finally sold it in 2017. It was eighteen years old, well-used, and ready for the junk yard.
